Frequently asked questions
The things people most often want to know about Purr and Pour.
How does a visit work?
Book a 50-minute cuddle session online, grab a drink from the coffee bar, and spend your session in the cat lounge. Sessions are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 6 to 12, drink included.
Can I adopt the cats?
Yes, every resident cat is adoptable through our shelter partners. Visit first, apply in the lounge, and most approvals land within 48 hours. Over 300 cats have found homes this way.
Can I bring my kids? What about allergies?
Kids 6 and up are welcome, and under 6 visit free on a lap. The lounge is full of real cats, so it is not suitable for serious cat allergies. The café side is cat-free if part of your group needs a break.
Can I bring my own cat?
No, resident cats only. Strange cats stress the residents and reset weeks of socialization. Your cat will forgive you, probably.
Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?
Weekends usually book out, so reserve ahead on the Visit page. Weekday walk-ins are often fine. Same-day openings are posted by phone.
Do you host birthdays and private events?
Yes. Kitten birthdays for up to 10 kids, full after-hours buyouts for up to 30 humans, and sunrise cat yoga every first Sunday. See the Parties page for packages, or ask us about gift sessions.
What are the house rules?
Shoes off, inside voices, let cats come to you, no flash photography, and no picking cats up. Staff will happily introduce you to whoever is feeling social.
